How it works

• Choose your own topics and questions from our list and/or create your own. Our professional and sensitive interviewer will guide you through the process during the initial interview process and taping.

• Approximately 1-2 weeks before your session, you will be sent a list of sample questions/topics. Of course you can always add your own questions to the list! Remember, this is YOUR LIFE and YOUR STORY so you get to tell it how you want. This tool is provided simply to get you thinking of what you’d like to talk about. It’s easy for some; harder for others.

• Get your family involved! Ask them for questions that they’d like the answers to about your life.

• In addition to the video interview, we will be able to insert 1-20 photos of your choice. They can be hardcopy or digital. All originals will be sent back to you so start gathering them.

• Music of your choice will be added to the part of your movie where you will not be speaking (photos, credits, etc). Standard music will be chosen for you if you don’t have a musical preference.

• We’ll meet on the day of taping at a location of your choice. This must be a quiet place with no interruptions – preferably where you live to capture you in your home environment. It’s also preferable that you are interviewed alone (or all parties that are part of the movie) to make your story more relaxed and spontaneous.

• You are the narrator but don’t worry – you’ll be guided by our professional interviewer to bring your story to life.
